While baseball conversation frequently circulates around the topic of the best teams, best plays, and best players, yesterday at the Bergino Baseball Clubhouse we talked about the worst prompted by the interview with co-authors of On a Clear Day They Could See Seventh Place: Baseball's Worst Teams George Robinson and Charles Salzberg (as always led by New York's legendary sportscaster Rich Ackerman). Putting aside World Series winners, George and Charles went on about some of the worst teams in baseball history (often siting Philadelphia teams much to one of our intern's chagrin), but we won't list them here, rather you should listen to our podcast here or pick up their book to learn more about the worst of the worst.
